@Dr whatson on daily cholestrol:

Thanks for your response. LDL cholesterol on its own doesn't cause heart disease. Oxidized cholesterol causes heart disease. Therefore, the way to prevent heart disease is to reduce oxidative damage. The two main ways to do that are to 1) drastically reduce intake of all polyunsaturated oils (which are the first lipids to oxidize in a lipoprotein), and 2) ensure adequate intake of CoQ10 and other antioxidants.

Inflammation is another primary contributor to CHD. Stress, smoking, and lack of physical activity are three major causes of inflammation. It follows that exercise, not smoking and managing stress are important for preventing heart disease.

Instead of treating with drugs, reducing your high cholesterol level with good food naturally. Fish, nuts,a lot of fruits and vegetables and one glass of wine by day, only one, exercise regularly.

Thanks for your kind words, G.

I haven't heard of Dr. Davis, but it definitely seems we're in alignment on several issues. I'll check him out.

Thanks for the link!

Hi,

I love your blog! I wish I could attend...

Here is a physician who debunks cholesterol and MANY other myths regarding heart disease.

heartscanblog.blogspot.com

Dr. Davis has the tried and tested solutions for heart disease reversal. His recent publication is the first to show reversal on EBT heartscan with vitamin D (at FASEB in April San Diego, CA). Yes, vitamin D (you've written about some of its potent properties). (He likes K2 also!)

Keep up the strong work!!
