Many of the pages follow a comic book template, using humor to pepper the pages of gorgeous food photography and easy-to-follow Paleo recipes. There are recommendations for transitioning your family to Paleo, ideas for packable lunches and snacks, and delicious ways to incorporate nutrient dense foods such as liver, bone broth, pastured eggs, and high quality meat and fish. While there is a chapter on desserts, I appreciate that this book focuses on healthy, nourishing foods that can (and should!) be eaten on a regular basis.
