Vita-mix Giveaway

I have a couple of announcements to make. First, I’m switching over to a new Facebook page. My current page is still called “The Healthy Skeptic”, and as it’s not possible to change the name of a Facebook page, I had to create a new one.

In order to entice you to come join us on my new page, I’m giving away a Vitamix blender and free lifetime access to both the Personal Paleo Code and the Meal Plan Generator.

To enter the drawing, just like my new page and fill out the entry form. The contest ends on February 29th at 11:59pm, so make sure to enter before then!

Personal Paleo Code Affiliate Program

I’ve received a lot of inquires about an affiliate program for the Personal Paleo Code, and I’m happy to say that it’s now available. You can sign up by clicking here and filling out the form. We will then contact you with details.

The affiliate program is a great way to help others experience the life-changing benefits of a Paleo diet and lifestyle, while earning a little extra cash for your efforts. Here’s how it works:

  • You place banners or links to the Personal Paleo Code on your website.
  • If someone purchases the PPC through through your site, you earn a 33% commission.
  • If they continue with the Meal Plan Generator after the 30 day trial, you’ll earn a 25% commission on their monthly subscription fee.

If you plan to promote the PPC offline – at your gym or health clinic, for example – you can still be an affiliate and earn commissions. Just make sure you indicate that you will be promoting PPC offline in the “Website/location where you will promote PPC” field on the sign up form, and we will send you special instructions.

Healthy Baby Code Affiliate Program

We also have an affiliate program for the Healthy Baby Code. It works in a similar fashion. You will earn a 33% commission for anyone who purchases through your website or gym/clinic. Click here to sign up.

My son told me about you, he has been following your eating plan and loves the way he feels, he is an athlete. I on the other hand weigh more than 2 times my suggested weight(5′ 4″ 300lbs), with depression caused by pain from fybromialgia, other wise I am very healthy and eat mainly whole foods. I have just started to eat your way but do not clearly understand it. Unfortunately I am on a dissablity and cannot afford your product, I am so positive that once my muscles are no longer starved from the proper nutrients they need, I will be able to get going… thus getting going… weight will naturally come off. Weight naturally coming off will equal no depression… I so want to show there is a cure for fybromialgia it does not need to cripple so many middle aged women… I also have a daughter that is 16 following in my path… she is 5’1″ and 240lbs help me before this kills her… She is pre-diabetic with many other medical problems to mention.

Carla, there are many doctors out there who believe that FM is caused by thyroid resistance. This opinion is reinforced by the fact that most people with FM also have thyroid symptoms such as weight gain and fatigue. Thyroid resistance is like insulin resistance in that thyroid blood tests may look normal, but the person will usually have a low in range T3, a low body temperature and bad hypo symptoms. Check out stopthethyroidmadness.com for further information.

    Carla
I had fibromyalgia. I say had although the pain and tiredness return if I slip with my diet. 3 days after starting paleo the pain halved. 10 days and I had energy to spring clean. Four months and I had lost 20 kilos. Eight months and I spontaneously started exercising.
    I really works
But I do have to be very careful to avoid all grains (particularly gluten grains) and all seed oils. And I avoid added sugar diligently.

I’m just checking to see if leaving a comment automatically subscribes me to your emails. :) In any case, interesting incentive scheme you have going here. Keep up your good work, Chris. I love the info on here.

Wow Carla way to go! Keep it up and you will inspire your family to follow your footsteps. I lost 80 lbs 10 years ago. I grew up with an obese parent too. It does not have to be the future, you can change it!! Keep it up. You can find lots of free info on my site too.
    Thanks

    Hey Chris,
I have a question. I entered the contest a couple of weeks ago, however I gave up Facebook for lent, so I was wondering, how are you going to notify the winner? Are u going to announce it on your fb page or post it on your site or email the winner?

    Rochelle :)

The contest ended last night at 11:59pm. It’s against Facebook contest rules to announce it on Facebook, so after the winner is chosen (this weekend), I will do a blog post on Monday with the announcement.
