The graph below indicates your need for additional support in three primary body systems: digestion, metabolism, and detoxification.

  • High
  • Moderate
  • Low

The 14-Four has the potential to improve your health-and change your life-in dramatic ways.

Diet, physical activity, stress management and sleep are the four pillars of health. But sometimes addressing these areas isn't enough to reverse decades of poor nutrition and bad habits, or to tackle pre-existing problems with digestion, metabolism and detoxification.

What's more, problems in these areas can sabotage your chances for success on the 14 Four. For example, if you have significant blood sugar issues, you're likely to experience intense cravings during the program that could make it harder to stick with the diet. If you have digestive issues, you may find it difficult to digest and absorb the nutrient-dense foods you'll be eating. And if your detoxification systems are impaired, you may feel wiped out as your body attempts to unload some of the stored toxins in your system.

After putting thousands of people through programs like this, I've found that those with digestive, metabolic, and detox-related issues are much more successful and get better results when they take supplements that address those problems during the program.

Here are my suggestions for improving your chances of success based on your results above (see the bottom of the page for ordering information):

DIGESTION

If you scored "moderate" or "high" in this category, I suggest taking two supplements during the program:

Super Enzymes: a comprehensive blend of enzymes that supports healthy digestion. Formulated with Bromelain, Ox Bile, Pancreatin and Papain, Super Enzymes helps to optimize the breakdown of fats, carbohydrates and protein.

Betaine HCL/Pepsin: Hydrochloric acid secretion in the stomach does several positive things. It assists protein digestion by activating pepsinogen to pepsin, it renders the stomach sterile against ingested pathogens, it inhibits undesirable overgrowth in the small intestine, and it encourages the flow of bile and pancreatic enzymes. Hydrochloric acid also facilitates the absorption of a number of nutrients, including folate, vitamin B12, ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, iron, and some forms of calcium, magnesium, and zinc.

The therapeutic dose is 2 capsules 3 times a day just before meals for Super Enzymes. For Betaine HCL/Pepsin, follow these instructions: Begin with one capsule just before meals. Increase by one capsule at each meal (i.e., take two capsules before the next meal, three capsules before the following meal, etc.) until you feel a mild burning sensation in your upper abdomen. Then decrease back to the number of capsules you took prior to experiencing the burning sensation, and maintain that dose. You may notice that after a while, even that dose produces a burning sensation. If this happens, continue reducing the dose until you no longer feeling a burning sensation. If you don’t feel a burning sensation at five capsules, do not increase beyond that. Once you reach your target dose, maintain at that level for two to three weeks, then gradually try to reduce the dose until you are at one or two capsules with meals (or none, if you no longer need them).

METABOLISM

If you scored "moderate" or "high" in this category, I suggest taking two supplements during the program:

Metabolic Synergy: helps maintain healthy glucose and insulin levels, while supporting the conversion of carbohydrates to be used for energy by providing nutrients for the TCA cycle.

GlucoSupreme Herbal: ideal for supporting healthy insulin and glucose levels.

The therapeutic dose is 2 capsules 3 times a day with meals for Metabolic Synergy. For GlucoSupreme Herbal take 2 capsules twice a day with meals.

DETOXIFICATION

If you scored "moderate" or "high" in this category, I suggest taking Liver Nutrients during the program. This formula provides a balanced combination of nutrients that enhance and protect hepatic function by supporting liver detoxification processes and enzymatic pathways, and providing antioxidant support.

The therapeutic dose is 2 capsules 2 times a day with meals.

Important Note: You should not take any of these products if you're pregnant or nursing without checking with your physician first.
