A little bit about Kelsey:
My name is Kelsey Marksteiner. I’m a registered dietitian specializing in nutrient dense, whole-foods diets for patients with a variety of conditions. I graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and went on to complete my dietetic internship at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, Massachusetts. I also have a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States.
I have always been interested in nutrition and health, and I am honored to now help people find a diet that brings them happiness and longevity.
My Philosophy:
I love the framework that the Paleo/Ancestral diet provides, it is a great starting point. But it’s just that – a starting point. For most people with significant health issues, a simple Paleo diet is a wonderful start, but often it takes more to truly heal. It can be incredibly overwhelming to research your health condition and find that almost everyone has a different opinion as to what you should do! Well, that’s because everyone is different. What works for one person might not work at all for you, and that’s okay! I love helping people find their unique, personalized diet that helps them heal, not anyone else.
While we will definitely start with a Paleo/Ancestral template, we will go beyond that. I work with my patients to find their personalized diet that excludes foods that don’t suit them, and includes a variety of delicious foods that fuel them. (I’m a big foodie, so I’m not going to tell you to eat the same, boring food all the time – plus, that’s not healthy anyway!)
I would be honored to work with you and help you find your unique diet. If you’re interested in working with me, click here to learn about my programs!
