Note: My book, Your Personal Paleo Code, came out in paperback in December 2014 with a new name: The Paleo Cure.

It’s almost here! Your Personal Paleo Code is released next Tuesday, December 31. I am really proud of the final product and excited for you to read it.

Of course, one of the of the best parts of releasing a book is going on tour! I’ll be visiting 16 cities along the way and look forward to meeting you.

At bookstore signings I will give a short talk and answer questions before signing books. These events are free and books will be available for purchase at the store and in advance from the Eventbrite invitation. (We’re giving away some great free stuff to those that purchase books in advance.) The gym events will be longer and feature paleo-friendly food and a 90 minute presentation and Q&A before book signing. These are ticketed events that include one FREE signed copy of Your Personal Paleo Code.

I’m also doing a few special events—a whole-hog charcuterie and cocktail party in New York City, an afternoon farm-to-table event with Shauna Ahern (Gluten Free Girl) on Vashon Island in the Seattle area, and two double book signings: one with Michelle Tam of Nom Nom Paleo near San Francisco, and another with Stacy of Paleo Parents in Washington, DC.

This is your opportunity to kick-start 2014 by learning how to adapt the Paleo approach to your personal lifestyle and goals.   1. We are in the process of starting the Paleo restart as described in your book, Your Personal Paleo Code. A couple of questions on acceptable foods in the restart portion:
    1) Is sweet corn or popcorn off limits?

    2) We use whey to make our sauerkraut. Since dairy products are not allowed during the restart phase, would our sauerkraut made using whey be off limits as well?

  4. I am reading “Your Personal Paleo Code” and am trying the reset 1st step. I have also ordered and am using the Beef Concentrate Protein, which I love. I’m not used to eating during the day so I’m using the Protein for lunch with Almond Milk. Is that OK on the Reset Step?

  5. I’m a type one diabetic, any help for us. Plus I have CKD, Chronic Kidney Disease which is under control. No Potassium for me. So broccoli, avocados, high potassium is out. Is this a safe diet for me? I’m well controlled diabetic.
